MGW 230 combines ease-of-use with advanced features. Video feeds can be compresses and sent to multiple targets such as multicast, unicast and internal disk storage for offline playback. The platform also offers scheduling tasks to accommodate broadcast workflows that require distribution and automatic announcement of video assets. MGW 230's traffic shaping mechanism optimizes network usage, enabling the best video quality over any network.
MGW 230’s remote management system enables the configuration, operation and monitoring of multiple streams via a web-based management application. Alternatively, system integrators can develop custom front-end applications using MGW 230 comprehensive ActiveX API.
