Optibase EZ TV System is an advanced application suite that empowers organizations to deliver live and on-demand video over local and wide area IP networks.
Optibase EZ TV allows military and law enforcement organizations, government agencies, enterprises, and educational institutions to deliver their own custom lineup of locally produced, broadcast, and on-demand content. Video is delivered from any source to every PC and TV used by members of the organization over LANs. Using the advanced EZ TV Web Portal, administrators can quickly create channel groups and distribute them to all users or selected user groups at the click of a button. EZ TV System user groups and access privileges can be easily defined based on existing Microsoft Active Directory groups.
The browser-based EZ TV Player simultaneously displays any combination of live channels and VOD content chosen by the user in a 1, 4, 9 or 16 window mosaic. Supported video formats include the high-end MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) codec as well as MPEG-4 Part 2, MPEG-2 and MPEG-1. Content, software, and ticker message updates can be automatically distributed to all users. Emergency broadcast capabilities enable administrator take-over, with subsequent return to individual settings. For conference rooms and executive offices, EZ TV STB Module enables users to select content to be viewed on HD or SD TV monitors in addition to PCs. An intuitive graphical user interface makes it easy to browse content and control volume via a standard remote control. Alternatively, EZ TV Remote Control enables the system administrator to select fixed content for broadcast to a group of remote TV monitors.
